Happy Stampin’ New Year!

Happy 2007!!!

It’s been a wonderful holiday season, but now it’s time to Sell-a-Brate!  I’m excited to get back into the groove by resuming my regular Stamp-a-Stacks, Stampers’ 30 Club sessions, workshops, and other events – and I’m especially looking forward to seeing all my stampin’ friends again!  Keep checking in at my Calendar of Events from time to time to see what’s coming up!

New NORTH Whidbey Island Phone #!

I’m excited to announce this morning that I have a brand-new phone number for those of you in the north Whidbey Island area to use!  And if works according to my plan, it *should* be a local call for y’all up there!  🙂

So – please make a note of the change of number in your address books; my NEW North Whidbey number is:  (360) 639-4074.

AND, for everyone else:  If you are able to call that number without additional tolls from anywhere in the nation (i.e., perhaps a nationwide calling plan on cell or land line, or a Voip service), I would prefer that you use that number, too.

But if calling a North Whidbey number would result in long distance or other extra tolls for you, please feel free to continue using my toll free line:  (866) 478-2748. (But please ask me to call you back if our call will be very lengthy.)

Please make these changes in your address books right away (before you forget), as well as on any of my marketing material you reference frequently, such as the label on the back of your catalog, my business card, etc.  It may take a period of time before I have located and updated *all* the phone numbers printed on my flyers and forms, but as of today, THESE numbers are the accurate ones.

To review:

(360) 639-4074 (From North Whidbey – and also for anyone with free long distance calling)

(866) 478-2748 (Toll free – for everyone else; then please ask me to call you back if we’ll be on the phone very long)

Thank you for the Christmas Cards!

Just wanted to say thank you for all your Christmas cards!  I’m enjoying every single one of them!  And although I’m only posting those that specifically feature Stampin’ Up!(r) products here on my site, they’re ALL on display in my home, and every one is darling and special to me!  It’s such a thrill when you share your hand-stamped artwork with me – and (so far, anyway), every single holiday card I’ve received has been stamped!  How cool is THAT?!?

How to see *more* on this site

Did you know – that when you hover your mouse pointer over certain stamped samples and the image changes to a hand – that you can click the image for a larger view?

And same thing with certain words I’ve underlined; they may be linked to another place on the web so that when you click on ’em, you’ll automaticaly be taken to that place.  Go ahead; give it a try!  🙂

“Like It a Latte” Card Sample

Laurel_latte_web_size

Don’t you just love all the pretties in Stampin’ Up!(r)’s new Winter Mini Catalog?  One of the most popular stamp sets so far is "Like it a Latte" – so I thought I’d show you this darling sample stamped by one of my downline demonstrators, Laurel M., for our monthly card swap.  I adore this card for all its charming details – yet nothing’s too fussy.

Another December Stamp-a-Stack card

Love_ya_bunches_web_size

Here’s another card from last weekend’s Stamp-a-Stacks.  This one features the stamp set "Love Ya Bunches", which is one of the 6 half-price stamp sets Stampin’ Up!(r) is offering this month.  (See previous posting for a link to the details of this special.)

December Stamp-a-Stack sample

Dec_sas_snowflake_spot_web_size_1 Here’s one of the 5 cards we stamped at my December Stamp-a-Stacks this weekend.  It features the Stampin’ Up!(r) stamp set "The Snowflake Spot", and we used an Emboss Resist technique on the snowflake and "joy".  Perhaps because I’ve had snow on the brain for a week, I love the icy look of this card.  Unfortunately, the color went a little funky in the scan, and it almost looks as if multiple blue inks were used.  But there was really only one – Bashful Blue.

I will explain the Emboss Resist technique in my upcoming December newsletter; if you don’t already subscribe, you can do so in the upper left-hand corner of this page.  (It’s easy – and free!)
