Another Big Shot sample

Favor cello bag  Here's another sample made with my Big Shot die cutting machine.  This cello bag topper is made with 2 layers cut with the Top Note die – and then folded together in the middle. The inner layer is Kiwi Kiss cardstock, and the outer layer is a piece of Designer Series Paper (Bella Rose), which was trimmed along the dotted lines.  (And of course I had to choose coordinating candy, too!)

If you haven't had a chance to look at the Big Shot yet, ask me to demo it at your next workshop!

Now, no hyperventilating! Promise?

Big_shot_pennant_web

Ok, no hyperventilating now, 'cuz I'm actually gonna post another sample from my Big Shot in the very same sitting! (But that'll be all for today, 'cuz I have a class to be ready for in just a few minutes.)  But I'm really tickled that Carolyn was able to get a picture of this pennant banner as well as she did; it's really not a tiny thing.  But it looks like she actually had it mounted up on her wall for the shot.  (Be sure and tell her thank you next time you see her, btw.)

So, I was just delighted with how this project turned out!  Very fun to do, too – to watch it all come together layer by layer.  And of course the fact that I got to lay out and play with lots of Stampin' Up!®'s Designer Series Papers surely helped.  And you may be interested to know that not all the DSP's here came from the same set; I was able to mix and match from several of my leftovers – including some retired ones, too.

So whatdya think?  Wouldn't this be fun for a little girl's birthday party – especially with her very own name spelled out across it?  Or forget the birthday party; just hang it up in her room!  Or in a baby's nursery, or change the colors altogether and use it in your boy's room.

I don't have those Serif Essentials dies yet, but man-oh-man, are they ever calling me every single day!?!  So it probably won't be too much longer….. and then you'll probably see this finished up with a special young lady's name on it!

And don't forget, if you want to see this in person, be sure to drop by my Big Shot Open House on Thursday!

Can you believe it?!? I’m posting a card sample!

Card13.1  Oh my gosh; I'm SO excited today, 'cuz I finally have PICTURES to show you!  It's not really as if I have had nothing to share, and certainly not that I haven't had the desire, but I've just not had the time to do all the behind-the-scenes photo stuff that goes along with *getting* these images from the actual thing – into the image that you see here.  But Carolyn S. took a load of my samples out of here the other day (bless you, Carolyn, I am SO grateful!) and returned them yesterday along with a CD of 75 pictures she had shot!  So this afternoon I've been working away with my photo editting software (which a full year later I have to admit I'm still only a novice at), and voila!  I actually have a photo ready to post!

Well, actually, I have quite a few, but we need to ease into this gradually, don'tcha think?  'Cuz we wouldn't want anyone getting tooooo excited now, would we?

So because I'm featuring the Big Shot for Stampin' Up! at my Open House in a couple of days I figured that seemed a reasonable place to start.  So here's one of the very first projects I did with my Big Shot – all done with Stampin' Up!® exclusive dies and misc. scraps of cardstock I had lying around.  Oh!  And I think there was a circle punch or two involved, too.

So aren't you impressed?!?  Lynda got a sample posted!

Spooky Spider (Decor Elements) is now available!

Spooky_Spider_rdax_215x246 Just in time for your Halloween fun, comes "Spooky Spider" – from our Decor Elements vinyl art line!  Now, while you may not want him on your wall (well, at least not for long, anyway – eek!) - how 'bout on a mirror or window, or perhaps on a large, glass candy jar where you can save him for next year, to!  He's available in 3 sizes; download a flyer here.

Better call or email me with your order; last I checked, this was too new to appear yet in the online ordering system.

Would you believe I finally got the online registration open for those, too?!?  To register, just scroll down to the graphic in the left-hand column for registering for a class online.

“Big Shot for Stampin’ Up!®” Open House

PROMO_LAND_BigShot

Registration is now open for my "Big Shot for Stampin' Up!®" Open House on Thursday, September 25.  To get acquainted with this fun, new (and oh-so-versatile) die-cutting machine, come on by anytime between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm – and take your turn at cranking out some fun shapes to take home, too.

But please do register and then email me the approximate time of day you'll be coming, ok?

Oh, and this event is complimentary, btw – so bring all your crafter friends, too!

The day has finally arrived! Online ordering is here!

It's here!  It's here!  Online ordering has finally arrived! – and I know you're just gonna LOVE it!  Here's how to check it all out:

Click here to get to my demonstrator home page, and then up in the top right-hand corner, just click on "Shop Now".  It's easy!  Go give it a try!

Oh, and in case you're wondering, any orders you place online through my site will still qualify for my regular offerings such as my ongoing Great Rewards card offer – just as if you had placed that order directly with me at a workshop or via email or telephone.

And you'll want to keep this address handy for future use, too, so you can find your way back there again:  http://www.StamptheRock.StampinUp.net

(please note that ends with "net", not "com".)

And Stampin' Up! advises that you'll need to go through my home page and then click on "Shop Now" each time you enter the shopping system.  They ask that you not try to take shortcuts by jumping directly to a page within the online ordering system, as things will not work correctly behind the scenes in that case.

And finally, please be aware that at the present time, orders you place online cannot be attached to an existing workshop or Club order.  Each order will stand independently and ship to the location you input, and will qualify for free merchandise (similar to hostess benefits) if the product total reaches $150 or more.  BUT - if you desire for your order to be part of someone else's workshop - or credited towards your monthly Club order - for the time being we will still have to write up your order the regular way – either in person, or via email or telephone.  (Although you may certainly page through the online catalog built into the shopping system to come up with your wish list!)

So happy shopping!  And let me know what you think!

Still room at my September Stamp-a-Stacks

Ok.  So I never got my online registration system up and running for September's Stamp-a-Stacks.  But YES I'm still running them!  Friday night's session is already full, but I still have a little room for Saturday morning, and even a little more room for Friday morning.  Please either email or phone if you'd like to join us!
