Sharing another baby swap card with you. This one's from Laurel Matthew, and if you've been stamping with me for very long you probably already know I have an incurable weakness for pink and brown together (in fact I almost used those colors for MY swap card, lol)!
Anyway, Laurel stole my heart with this sweet card with all her darling details and dimension. To create her background, by the way, Laurel brayered a Texturz plate (for the Big Shot machine) with ink (probably Pretty in Pink), then placed her glossy cardstock face down onto the inked surface and ran the complete sandwich through the Big Shot. That created not only the texture of the background, but the pink and white pattern as well. Stamp-a-Stackers, do you remember the blue and white polka dot card we made last spring that featured this same technique? (Except we didn't use glossy cardstock on ours.)
Don't forget you can click on most of my card samples to see a somewhat larger version if you want to study further details.
I like this one too… Way to go Laurel..
