Woo Hoo! Stampin’ Up!® has just informed us that the Build-a-Brad, which has been on long-term B/O due to quality control issues, is now available for ordering! We had the opportunity to work with these fun doo-dads at Convention this past summer, and I’ve been SO anxious to finally be able to get my hands on some more! So if you, too, have been waiting (with whatever degree of patience you can muster), well, it’s TIME! Check ’em out here and on page 189.
Stampin’ Up! has further advised us that it is possible you might find some grains of rice in the tins. Apparently this rice is used in the finishing process for the metal brads, and although the manufacturer endeavors to remove it all, it is possible some may still remain caught – esp. in the prongs of the brads. So although it may be surprising to find rice in your brads, as long as we all know about it, it shouldn’t be cause for alarm.
Oh! And if you’d like to see one of these brads in person, I have some on display on the boards I’ll have at the Uniquely Whidbey Business Expo in Coupeville Oct. 13 & 14. Be sure and ask me to point them out to you when you stop by!
